Hot outside, too hot.
Energy sapped, lie near fan
No motivation.

A gentle blush tints
Clouds, the sky awash in pink
And gold. The sun sets.

Crescent moon at dusk,
Curve of light in the sky, try
To see the shadow.

Love to travel, see
New places, new things. And then
I come home again.

Waves crash and roll, their
Repetition comforting
As I fall into sleep

Gelato, sweet and
Cold on a hot day. Mint, dark
chocolate, so yum.

Weather stays the same
Days of sun and heat, breezy
Near the water’s edge.

Consistent weather
Does not bore, rather it gives
Time to relax, time to rest.

White triangles blue
Sea and sky. Waves lap against
The sand. Calm beauty

Where sea meets sky, pure
Blue. Close to shore, shades of green
White foam adorns waves.

Hot hot hot. So hot.
I sit in shade, but the sun
Is without mercy.

Wind across the sea
Cools and refreshes i lift
My face to the breeze.

More sun, more heat, neither
A cloud nor bit of wind. We
Wait for night inside.

Not a leaf moves, so
Still. Heat promises to build all
Day. Sunshine. Summer.
