Outside is gray. Cold.

Still. Misery permeates.

Sameness. More Ennui.

So much white, too bright.

The fog encapsulates, we

Are buried by light.

Cold seeps into bones

Shivering all day, tired

Of constant winter.

Sun and warmth, then snow

Spring tries to break through, but still

Winter’s grip is tight.

We awake to magic

White, bright, accumulation

And gray slush by noon.

Another springlike day
Will winter drop its snowy
Boot on us again?

Cold silvery light
Breaks through gray mist, welcome sun
Reduce winter chill.

Gray day, half winter

Snow or rain, we wait to see

Cold chill in the air

Gloomy Swiss weather
Few signs of winter, fog, rain
Too many dark days.
